Paul is phenomenal. Fantastic artist and great teacher- the two day paint theory class was great for me as someone who needed a serious refresher. There is a perfect balance of theory and practice with tea and biscuits in between (yay) and the practical parts of the class are really balanced and pitched at your skill level. I spent the next couple of nights after the classes finished painting because I was so motivated! Thanks Paul, looking forward to the next one.

I attended the two day workshop 10-4.30pm with Paul Hassell and it was great. I came away having learnt what I had hoped too and more and am now able to make many colours out of the three primary colours ( Red, yellow and blue) including a better understanding of shading and tones. Paul was very knowledgable and patient and I thoroughly enjoyed his teaching. I ll be back!

I'd highly recommend the colour theory workshop. Paul clearly knows his stuff and is able to impart it succinctly and clearly. His university teaching background is apparent as well as what he teaches is not elementary and is backed up with loads of examples as well as demonstrations.
