Description

If you have always wanted to have a go at making bathers, but have been a bit scared to work with stretch fabrics like Lycra. Then this is the course for you. Over 5 weeks we will first sew black bikini bottoms before completing a pair of bathers, of your choice, customised to fit your body.

A choice from a range of swimwear patterns allows you to make bathers to suit your preference and needs, whether skimpy or for sun protection, one or two piece. There are almost limitless possibilities. There will be a focus on adjusting commercial patterns to fit your body type and you will be guided throughout the process to build the necessary skills to make your totally unique swimwear that you won’t see anywhere else.

Some general sewing ability is required, but you don’t need to have experience sewing stretch fabrics.
